The Trip

Pinnacles reef is the premier bull shark diving location in Southern Africa. A small population of approximately 20 bull sharks congregate on this reef every summer between October and April. These sharks are a favourite amongst divers as they are confident, calm and allow close interaction with divers. The bull sharks are attracted to pinnacles by the abundance of predatory game fish that use the reef each summer, so enjoy the schools of kingfish, barracuda and snapper.
