About the tour
Cape Town offers the greatest diversity of shark encounters in Southern Africa. Over this 7 day tour, guests can potentially see upwards of 10 different sharks species in four different dives spots. The cooler cape waters helps offset the sizzling shark action.
Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town and travel to accommodation based in Simon’s Town.
- Day 2: Venture out to Seal Island for white shark breaching and cage diving expedition.
- Day 3: Explore the coastal kelp forests and the primitive sevengill sharks that reside here.
- Day 4: Chill out in the Two Oceans Aquarium Predator Tank.
- Day 5: Travel offshore to the pelagic realm full of blue and mako sharks.*
- Day 6: A spare contingency day to put your feet up.
- Day 7: Tour ends.
*Out of season (Jul, Aug, Sep) dive is replaced with a second white shark cage dive.
Top Tips
A good 7mm wetsuit, gloves, hoodie and booties makes all the difference when plunging in the Cape’s cooler waters. Make sure your kit is up to scratch and you will be able to enjoy the abundance of sharks that reside here.
