About the tour

The dive sites of KZN are famous for their scores of tiger sharks, bull sharks, ragged-tooth sharks, black tip sharks and dusky sharks. A massive diversity of big charismatic sharks occupy these offshore reef systems. Explore the two most shark filled of these reefs, Aliwal Shoal and Protea Banks over this week long express tour. A non-stop shark adventure!

Itinerary

Day 1. Tour begins with arrival in Durban and a drive to accommodation at Umkomaas town.
Day 2. Morning launch to Aliwal shoal to discover the ragged-tooth shark. Afternoon to be spent enjoying Croc Park.
Day 3. Morning launch for baited tiger shark dive. Afternoon spent wandering around the attractions at Durban’s U’Shaka marine world.
Day 4. Baited tiger shark dive at Aliwal shoal, including luring up bull sharks from the deep. Afternoon travel to Shelly Beach.
Day 5. Protea Banks deep dive on the Southern Pinnacle with bull sharks, black tips, dusky sharks.
Day 6. The second dive at Protea Banks will be a baited tiger and bull shark drift dive.
Day 7. Tour ends.
