About the tour

The Southern Cape is prime habitat for the worlds most charismatic shark – the great white! Journey between the two most renowned great white shark diving locations in the world – Gansbaai and Mossel Bay.

Itinerary

  • Day 1. Travel to Gansbaai and check in to accommodation.
  • Day 2. Venture to Dyer Island to cage dive with great white sharks.
  • Day 3. Venture to Dyer Island to cage dive with great white sharks.
  • Day 4. Travel to Mossel Bay, tour Jukani big cat park.
  • Day 5. A quick boat ride to the point, dive with ragged tooth & endemic shark species.
  • Day 6. A final cage diving expedition with the great white shark in Mossel Bay.
  • Day 7. Tour ends.

Top Tips

White shark cage diving is one of the ultimate experiences for shark lovers. Make sure you get the most out of this tour by spending a few hours practicing breath holding for when you are in the cage. Increased breath hold equals increased sightings.

  • Qualifications: No diving qualifications needed apart from the raggie/endemic shark dive in Mossel Bay.
  • Wetsuit: 7mm, hoodie, gloves, booties is recommended.
