About the tour
The Southern Mozambique Express tour spans both South Africa and Mozambique and is focussed on the continent’s most southern coral reefs. Sodwana Bay is a world heritage site and South Africa’s premier diving system, whilst the Ponta region is home to some of the most extensive unspoiled reef systems in Africa. In addition to wonderful reef diving, these locations are abound with sharks, most notably the bull sharks and massive whale sharks.
Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrive in Durban and travel to Sodwana
- Day 2: Morning and afternoon reef and whale shark dive
- Day 3: Morning and afternoon reef and whale shark dive then sundown hippo tour.
- Day 4: Morning reef and whale shark dive then travel to Ponta.
- Day 5: Morning bull shark or reef dive. Afternoon dolphin snorkel.
- Day 6: Morning bull shark or reef dive. Afternoon dolphin snorkel.
- Day 7: Travel back to Durban.
